how the threads are woven together

Knitted Single Jersey is a soft, stretchy fabric with a smooth front and slightly textured back, commonly used for comfortable clothing like t-shirts and leggings.
yarn
refers to the thickness and weight of the threads used to make the fabric
Larger yarns = thicker threads, which make the fabric feel heavier and more substantial.
Smaller yarns = finer threads, which make the fabric lighter and airier.
staple length
refers to the length of the cotton fibers
Longer cotton fibers make the fabric stronger, softer, and less prone to pilling.
fabric weight
