Our Founder
Our company was built on the strong desire to protect families and promote safe sleep. Our founder, Bill Schmidt, lost his firstborn to SIDS in 1991, and was determined to create a product that prevented it from happening to anyone else.
His relentless drive to innovate led him to design the SleepSack. Since then, it has become the #1 choice of hospitals nationwide.
Bill’s drive is at the heart of our HALO Sleep team, creating a series of sleep systems that have quickly found themselves at the top of mom’s most beloved products lists. To date, we have helped over 30 million parents rest easier.
